Fall in Minnesota...

It was rainy and generally unpleasant yesterday in Minnesota. This photo was actually taken at the same time I slipped on a birch log and went down to my knee. I think it turned out alright myself, though at the time I was in no mood to contemplate the possible artistic merits. I just wanted to get back in my car and dry off.

A Historic Night... spent in a MN hotel room

I'm very, very excited about tonight's election result. This marks the third Presidential election I've voted in, and the first I've come away happy about. I would have liked to watch the returns come in with friends, but I find myself in Eveleth, MN at the moment on a site trip. My surroundings may not be memorable, but I'll remember this night for a long time.
